Services
Training and Maintenance
The Cell Imaging Core offers state-of-the-art instruments for your use. We maintain all instrumentation to ascertain the highest quality of your results. We provide theoretical and hands-on training to all users to enable them to independently use our instruments.
If you need consultation on setting up your imaging experiment, please do not hesitate to contact us. We will arrange a meeting, where we can discuss your scientific question and analysis needs. This will allow you to choose the right instrumentation for your task.
We offer on-site troubleshooting, if your imaging session is compromised by technical problems.
Sample analysis as a Service
If you have only one set of samples with a standard imaging task that you would like to have analyzed, and you do not have the time to learn the usage of an instrument, we offer the analysis service for you.
You will be responsible for the sample preparation and describing to us, what is the question that you would like to have answered.
First, we provide guidance with sample preparation.
We will then take care of the technical side of the measurements and analysis.
This service is subject to availability of our resources and pricing needs to be negotiated.
Flow Cytometric Cell Sorting
We provide high-quality fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) on a BD FACSVantage SE.
The cell sorting is always carried out as a service for the researcher. If you need cells to be sorted, please follow the instructions provided.

Workshops and Lectures
The Cell Imaging Core also organises workshops and contributes to lectures on imaging and flow cytometry.
If you would like us to give a course or lecture in your department or company, feel free to contact us. We can provide tailored lectures and demos to fulfill your requests. Pricing for this service needs to be negotiated.
Imaging items from us
CIC offers a small selection of imaging items for sale to all our users: from glass-bottom dishes to reagents. The prices are the same than product suppliers provide, but purchase sizes can be chosen more flexible.
